“As the peak industry organisation supporting NZ’s co-operatives, mutuals and societies we have worked closely with Jo in recent months in reviewing some of our strategies including forming effective relationships with NZ’s politicians. Jo has provided a good level on insight and strategic vision when planning ahead. We have also benefitted from her close links within NZ’s government. I recommend her, and Silvereye’s services, to the wider NZ businesses community”.
“I am seriously impressed with your ability to capture this nuanced space so skilfully, thank you.”
“NERI’s Energy Research Strategy was an important one-off major production for the Institute, and we were looking for a high quality design. This Silvereye delivered with a minimum of fuss. Greatly appreciated with everything else that was going on around its launch.”
IrrigationNZ has been a client of Silvereye communications for over 5 years and during this time their expertise and advice has played a significant role in lifting our media profile and political impact. IrrigationNZ is now a ‘Go-To’ organisation for media comment around rural water issues and has also established effective relationships with all political parties. Irrigators voluntarily pay our annual membership fees as they know their voices will be heard in Wellington.
Silvereye’s extensive knowledge of the primary sector has been extremely valuable in achieving this. They were instrumental to the successful ‘stop the water-tax’ campaign in the lead up to the election – which saved the irrigation industry $80 million annually. Silvereye helped us prepare media statements, develop key messages for television and radio interviews alongside run an extremely effective social media campaign that had a huge reach.
If your organisation is wanting to build their media profile or more effectively engage with government I’d highly recommend using Silvereye – their knowledgeable staff always go that extra mile to ensure their client’s objectives are met.
“On behalf of our clients we engaged Silvereye to assist with communications and a publicity campaign to promote awareness and interest in forming a group to bring a class action and later publicise an opt-in period granted by the Court of Appeal. We worked with Jo Coughlan, Ruth Lavelle Treacy and Kara Tait between August 2015 and February 2018 on the project. The campaign was at its busiest in the five months leading up to 31 December 2015 and again in the five months leading up to 31 January 2018.
We were very impressed by the professionalism, skill and capability Silvereye brought to the project. They were responsive and effective in assisting our clients to get the necessary messages to potentially affected owners and claimants in a nationwide campaign across newspapers, television, radio and other avenues. We were very pleased with the level of response and interest in the claim and ultimately in the numbers who came forward to opt-in to join the class action. There was positive response and feedback to all media releases circulated throughout the campaign.
We are happy to recommend Silvereye to others needing an effective communications consultant in similar circumstances.”
Conor was our opening keynote speaker at MobileTECH 2018. His presentation helped set the scene and encourage a mindset change for the industry around technology disruption and agritech in New Zealand. Conor did a fantastic job and spoke with authority as an industry leader and expert. Both his presentation content and delivery reinforced the message, ignited discussion and exceeded our expectations.
