Jane brings a wealth of experience to the Silvereye team, having worked in senior policy advisory roles at both local and central government level. Her experience spans government departments including the Ministry of Economic Development (Consumer Affairs), Standards New Zealand, and the Department of Social Welfare.

Jane spent four years with the New Zealand Police where she was responsible for the road policing strategy and policy development. She has also held senior roles at Taupo District Council, both in policy and governance.

Jane has come to Silvereye from the Property Council New Zealand, advocating on behalf of the property sector on national strategic priority areas such as finance and tax settings, infrastructure funding, planning and housing development, and building code system reform. Jane’s aptitude for building relationships make her a formidable addition to the team.

Jane holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences from Massey University and a Master’s in Library and Information Systems from Victoria University of Wellington. She also completed a postgraduate course in regulatory enforcement at Harvard University.
