Group of homeowners affected by leaky homes saga to bring class action suit

A group of homeowners affected by the ‘leaky home saga’ are hopeful a class action suit will bring closure to the issue.

Unregulated building practices in the 1990s and early 2000s led to thousands of homes affected by rots and leaks. Homeowners Gary Stewart and Meredith Osmond are seeking compensation against James Hardie, the manufacturer of the faulty home cladding used. Dan Parker, Parker and Associates, is representing the group of homeowners and they are trying to get as many onboard the class action suit before the deadline closes at the end of the month.
